| That's how it worked carrying the certified settlement sheet from the elevator to the NRCS office about 20 years ago for corn and the LDP payment that day covered all the corn delivered that day even though most of it was contracted at a price well above the LDP price. As I remember the numbers, the local elevator was down to 92 cents a bushel, LDP price was about $1.48 and I had contracted for about $1.52 so the combination got me twice the local cash price that day.
