Pilot Grove, Missouri | If they are like the ones here nothing will kill them once they get that big. I think the Cobra label only lists control of waterhemp to 4". The best program I have found is cereal rye drilled at 34-40# per acre in the fall. drill beans into the headed out rye in May. Spray after drilling but before emergence with RU to kill the rye and 3-3.75 0z. of Fierce (have used 3.2 os. the last 2 years). Last year I did not post spray beans with this treatment. This year I only sprayed 1 pass around the outside of fields, and most of that was for foxtail. Patrick | |
