Renville Minnesota | I would respectfully suggest to forget about a one pass system..... in any system, unless you have more than a two crop rotation.
3 oz of Ballance flex worked great here in my back yard for the first time allowed in Minnesota..... then 2 oz laudis with 1/4 lb atz finished the job.
Verdict is great down too.
Next year I'm going back to harness as the rumor is its better on grass, I've been conventional on some acres for three years now and it seems grass is making a comeback. Plus a good switcheroo in chemistry might curtail future problems.
Very mixed feelings on sure start/tripple flex/staunch (anything with hornet in) due to some funky situations with cold soil here... hit n miss, maybe better to put that chemistry on at spike than right after planting.
I'm just a farmer, so maybe best to consult the experts on anything I've said.
Good luck.
