Kansas | I think they are redroot pigweed or palmer amrath. I've never heard of smooth pigweed.
They are probably als resistant. We have that issue with other crops.
On the non RR alfalfa we have been using the Velpar AlfaMax Gold on for several years.
I haven't used Round up on the RR alfalfa yet and the stands are4-5 years old. I was just looking for something that I could spike the round up with.
