EC Nebraska | I'm not sure where you're from, but here the new corn hybrids have way more drought tolerance than milo. We used to grow a lot of dryland milo until it just couldn't compete with the corn. 2012 was the last year of milo, we had it on part of a field on some pretty nice ground. It was about 10 bpa less than our worst corn yield that year.
I like milo, but when it can't yield with the corn in a drought year it's not worth growing.
