Beating the average on actual gross dollars by marketing well and producing well can still earn a good profit for the farmer. This type of lease also forces farmers to manage their input dollars well.
Flex leases are very common here. Typically the multiplier is a .33 to .35 instead of .38. I have heard as high as .4 but that includes some lime, p and k with it. | |
