I meant to type soft white wheat! My bad!
Sounds like wheat is a crop that spreads the workload out, helps with disease, and the corn crop would benefit following wheat.
I've heard that before, that corn will be better after wheat than any other crop.

I think the benefits of wheat may outweigh the fact that it isn't as profitable as corn or soys.

What variety do most people plant up here in the thumb of Mi?
Jupiter is a good one, isn't it?
