nw oh | Seems here it's raised for every reason except to make a profit that is a bonus.
For me:
1. Best time to put in tile.
2. Best time to haul manure
3. Need straw
4. Increases corn yield (think the manure has something to do with it)
5. Did I mention manure
Starting to keep it on our tougher farms less to lose than corn.
Bin run seed does help. 90 bushel average just planted, topdressed no herbicide and combined. Still think it was about breakeven. | |
