i'll let you know next year. seems to me it's cheaper to grow, you can save seed and it's harvested before drought really starts to kick in. i do see quite a bit lost over winter or during a really wet spring(rain + melting snow) but this year i've heard some guys are getting up to 150bu and there was a lot planted here so there must be some money to be made
