Mi | I was just noticing the the crop rotation around the area.
Two farmers have a 50/50 rotation of soybeans and wheat.
Three of the largest farmers around are pretty heavy into wheat.
Hard winter wheat is what's grown around here. Average yield is around 90-100 bushel. Last year was exceptional, 120+
I can't seem to make wheat pencil out like a corn/soybean rotation. I talked to a guy a few weeks ago and he said he'll probably start planting more wheat.
Those guys must know something I don't? | |
