North Central Illinois | Depends. Are you well watered or are you hurting for moisture? If you are hurting for moisture you could be losing 2% to 3% a day for the first few days. After a few days you really aren't going to lose a lot more to hot nights. 10% to 15% would be about the maximum you would lose to hot nights over an extended period of time. Losses beyond that would be caused by other factors. If you are well watered you can stand several hot nights with minimal loss. | |
