Dave... sorry.. i wasn't pointing my finger at you... I know you are not in the insulation industry. I am pointing my finger at whoever told you this. They lied... you didn't know. If anyone wants a sample of foam to fire test, I'll be happy to send you one. You are correct, it does take an external flame source to ignite the foam. However, it burns... Hey I'm a spray foam contractor!! I'm just telling to truth. Many many people in my own industry promote this fire resistance thing.

Also.. Yes I do hope to sell something, but I'm also here to educate. Feel free to ask more questions about anything. Also I'm not a chemist... but come on.. I know a thing or two... How can something with oil burn and it only produces steam? May the truth set you free, lol
