What he's looking for doesn't exist in Texas. Like the others have said, hot and dry to the point of needing irrigation or high humidity and miserable heat for a fair part of the year. Anything within an hour or two of the major metro areas will be 10k an acre and worth nowhere near that as far as value for farming or ranching. Texas has some fair places to raise cattle but row crop stuff can be an exercise in futility. | |
