NE IL
We have in the past and do occasionally We started growing more continuous corn 8 years ago and brought the plow back out. It was either that, or shred stalks or disk then drag across the old soil saver we had at the time. with this system our c/c yields were always on track with rotated acres. There were also years that nieghbors chiseled c/c really took a hit while the plowing never suffered.
In the short term it can be a good system with good heavy soil But from a long term standpoint we are now going with other tillage options for corn on corn
