Central Illinois
Ron,

For what it is worth, to keep Tall Waterhemp under control in soybeans anymore we have to keep it from emerging. This year the best looking fields I have I used Boundary down at planting followed by Prefix in 21 days at about 2nd trifoliate. Only issue I had was some scattered velvetleaf and cadet cleaned that up easily.

I think Syngenta is looking at being able to raise the amount of Dual that can be applied in a year and under severe cases an additional trip just before flowering.

People can talk all they want about Liberty and other post emerge programs but they are short lived options I feel.

To be honest I am not sure that either the Extend or Enlist are options to be used as a plan. I think if and when they are approved to be widely planted they should be kept for rescue if needed.

This is just my opinion tho. I am sure many would argue with me.
