Central Minnesota

sed - 7/21/2016 12:25 This is part of problem of seed cost. 1 Grower premiums too high compared to 25 years ago 2 Seed growers price for seed underpriced too much compared to commodity seed purchaser

Respectfully disagree with your observation.  1.    I find the premiums have changed very little compared to 25 years ago.

2. I guess "too" much is a personal opinion. Unless I am getting underpaid for being a seed producer I would guarantee the additional money that is paid out to the growers adds less the $2.00 a unit for the seed that commercial growers purchase.
