Texas

Experience has a way of regulating what gets planted year to year.  After a fellow gets a little experience trying to grow something that doesn't work, it has a way of changing his future plans.

When I moved to Texas from Missouri in 2000 I planted soybeans under irrigation.  One year of that was enough for me!  They grew and I harvested them, but raising beans in Texas was like trying to raise hogs in Missouri after the mid 1980's.  Profit was scarce!
