USA | You are the one that stated 250 bu corn in a positive basis area @ current prices =tight margins. That is not going to be the case in this part of the country this year. Even with 200 bu corn @ $3.80 the numbers look friendly.
From what I have seen and others are learning $30- $45 acre seed corn cost will produce as many bu as $ 80-120 acre seed cost. It's the genetics in the bag that produces bu , not the price paid. | |
