Western Iowa
I like 250 bushel corn idea. I might even try to get to 260 just to have a little advantage.

Buying a crystal ball that works well sounds helpful. Have a link where I can purchase online?

I plan on calling all my grain buyers tomorrow and demand they raise the basis 0.25. That should help bottom line as well.

I like having a positive attitude, positive cash flows and a good looking wife really help that along....... :)

Joking aside, I will never understand the 'not renting land' thing. What does a guy do if you aren't handed a running start from previous generation? When I started farming and for what seems like many years it was either rent at going rate or not farm. I only own 10% of my acres. Just can't spread fixed costs out without some acres. It sucks in some ways, but it is the way it is........
