Well looks like everyone needs to:
Play the market
Grow 250 bushel corn
Don't be renting land to farm
And only grow corn in areas with good basis

Just thinking it's going to be some interesting times coming up.

Thought I was growing the cheapest corn around. But not sure that helps anymore.


You summed that up nicely. As always this site is good at putting things in order. *

In the recent past we have also heard rent won't ever go down and shouldn't, land prices already backed off 15% so won't go down any more, repair costs should go up because our tech people are worth it, and machinery prices are already to the bone can't get any lower.

Energy costs are in a bit of a low bubble, only way they can go is up, and renting money has been in a very long low, it is either due for a correction up real soon, or will keep on very low because that is best for us all.
