Anderson County Kansas | Unless you were one of the guys that thought triple dipple Texas hedging was a good idea, there were plenty of chances to hedge grain at profitable prices. I didn't do nearly as much as I wish I had, but the opportunity was there. For the guys that worry about selling it before they grow it, thats what put options are for. If you were one of the guys that thought Texas hedging was the way to go, and bought into the weather hype and believed anyone knew it was going to be the drought of all droughts like some were predicting, then hopefully things will work out and it will just be an expensive lesson. | |
