Hoxie, KS, Northwest Kansas | If electricity is available then you would need to put a pump in the hole plus a column pipe to get the water to the surface. If you have 12" casing then you could probably get a 8" pipe down the hole. But here we have 8" columns with 16" casings. Then it will take a discharge head at the surface that connects the electric motor to the column pipe. From there it would take above or below ground pipe to get water to wherever you want it. Before I'd put a pump in the hole I'd have it test pumped to see how much water you can get and if this is a financially beneficial deal and then you would know how big of pump and motor you will need |
