Northeast Nebraska | That is indeed xanthomonas. Grey leaf spot is not as streaky and nclb is more large cigar shaped lessions. Last year this was only known as bacterial leaf stripe during my meeting with a UNL plant pathologist (Tamra Jackson) and now has an actual name. It is bacterial in nature so a fungicide will not work. If you haven't heard about it yet it's because the usda is keeping it under wraps so as to not scare countries that import our grain. It was first found in Nebraska just like gosses wilt. (damn irrigated corn on corn for 30 years breeding new diseases/pests). If you really want to know contact Unl plant pathology and send in a sample. They can confirm the disease.
