Central Ga | Far from perfect in the Southeast. Some are getting a little rain while the neighbors a few miles are burning up. The last week or ten days we have had some thunderstorm activity in the area but it is as spotty as I have seen in a long time. We have had more days above 95 than we have had in several years. Seven day forecast is for highs 95-98 with small chances for thunderstorms each day. Irrigated crops look good and my dryland has gotten just enough rain to keep it limping along. I am blessed. Lots of dryland acres are in real trouble. | |
