Southeast WI
I should have said a pyrethroid like warrior, pounce, mustang max, etc that flare mite populations. Bifenthrin is a miticide and a very good one here at least. Lorsban has exc kill on mites but it does not last. Eggs hatch and Lorsban is gone at that point. Hero hangs around substantially longer and controls the subsequent "flushes". In bad mite situations we use 10 oz hero and half pint Lorsban. In 2012 I sprayed different mixes in field strips and the difference and length of control was amazing.
