My area looks very good.... dare say excellent.... but... rains have been spotty, and on our farm, have missed most meaningful rainfalls.... 

We are mostly heavy soils, but, have some sand as well, and one farm in particular looks about normal.... poor.... just the way coarse textured soils work... high risk... not much reward.. 

As a whole, things do look very good for the entire area, with few exceptions, imo
