| Agronomically - none for beans
I took a 12 row 30" 3 point planter with Kinze 2000 units and shoved it down to 20" rows for just beans. Added 6 rows to fill the bar and have less than $9000 in it. I love it. I cannot get it to 15" with the kinze / JD 7000 row units.
Edited to add...I really cannot fit between the 20" rows. There is about 5" of space. The skirts where the insecticide boxes set will meet the plasma cutter over the winter. Any row unit work gets done from underneath.
