Morris, IL | Seeing some Potassium deficiency in VTish corn here in northern IL, showing up just maybe 1/4-1/2" outside of bottom leaf. I'm seeing this everywhere about the same amount regardless of soil test, hybrid, or previous crop. I'm seeing this even in the old barn yards with very very high Potassium levels. Anyone else seeing this? Will it affect yield? Any idea what would be causing this? I'll see if i can pull up some soil test results from couple of fields. Are we just pulling up so much and putting it in the crop right now? It's like a jungle out in our fields right now, plenty of rain, plenty of N both preplant and sidedress, PK last fall. Very good Drummer soils. Thanks in advance.
