Subject: RE: Waterhemp menace

We used 7 Oz of authority xl with burndown, 2 oz of zidua over the top. It has worked decent. The earlier sprayed lost control after about 5 to 7 inches of rain in May. The later sprayed fields has enough rain to activate it, but not enough to wash it out.

It has been a battle the last few years. We have tried about everything and have come to the conclusion it mainly takes a lot of luck and just the right amount of rain to activate the chemicals, but not too much to wash it out to hold down the water hemp.

I also tired a few fields with 3.5 oz of valor. It did not work well at all "here".
