North Central Illinois | Crops there are looking good. My 5879 corn looks like it is going to start showing tassels in a day or two, planted 5/19.
Not seeing any 30" row beans.
So far are you noticing a difference between triticale, and the rye you used in the past, as far as weed control? I am trying to decide whether to plant rye or triticale to no till into next spring. I am leaning towards triticale, as feed quality is better if I end up with a thin stand and bale it as a plan B. I don't want to sacrifice weed control potential though.
Is Canada Thistle a problem in the no till beans?
