Beresford, SD | Was all excited last night when it was pouring here at the feedyard........got 60 points.......went for a drive this am 2 miles north .40, Another 4 miles north east .20. Rain is desperately needed. IF the forecast is correct....not good. Odds are very high at this time for crop insurance claims. Losses kick in at 165 on on corn and 43.5 on beans..before revenue trigger if fall price is lower...we will be below that, with relative certainly. Really been blessed the last 3 years.......it was our turn to take one for the team. Just don't get it because radar was RED a county wide when it blew through last night.
