Clark SD | Here is another plus to using cover crops in my opinion. Had a streak of hail go thru one of our farms last evening. It stripped the corn and beans some, but in my opinion they will both recover some what. There is still a good cover of rye residue left on the ground so that will save some soil moisture from evaporating, that will help in the recovery.
