MN | We ran a set for the first time this year. We did several test strips to see if there is a benefit from late season N. We have been abnormally wet this year so if the nitrogen did move lower in the profile this late application should help.
We replaced our 60' side dress bar with the Y-Drops, 18 drops on 60" spacing (90' STS 12) and they work as advertised, I personally don't think having one in every row is necessary. They work best when corn is around waist high or taller.
I would recommend spending a few extra bucks and get the vari target nozzles, very unhappy with the Greenleaf nozzles that come from 360. I also need to figure out how to get them to stop leaking when turning on headlands.
Would I buy them again.... I'll answer that after harvest.
