Central IA | Was walking a few soybeans yesterday, saw a few stink bugs. Not many but thought early for that. Had to clean up a few trouble areas by hand, but otherwise beans look good. The areas I clean up were tile lines and old fence row, had some escapes there. I think row units went too deep and cleaners disturbed pre emergence too much compared to no till areas. Just soft when planting compared to rest of field. Older 6 row planter, spring down force. Emergence was even. | |
