Subject: Soil in the corn row?

King City, Mo
Prior to 1991 I rembering dad cultivating. I was 7 or younger at the time before he parked the cultivator. So I missed all the useful insights from dad as he has been gone since 06.

The last planted sweet corn hasn't been sprayed. 2 issues is 1 I didn't think the pumpkins were gonna make it so I planted sweet corn on the 10' gap between the rows of hills we had made. Second issue was I wanted to spray one more plot before I flushed the sprayer and my timing and rain and schedule didn't work out.

So figured I could spray dual once we get everything cleaned up as pumpkins and corn would be ok but no burn down herbicides.

Edit to add pic as phone was stalling out...

Small enough area where we I should have it tiller faster then digging out the cultivator and running it. So using the tiller as were tilling around the pumpkins patch after we pull or weedeat the bigger weeds down.

So how much soil can a guy toss into the row and not jack up his sweet corn?

The math of a 16" tiller and 30" corn rows seems simple but it's not.....
