Garland Maine
Well drilling here in Maine last year was $15 per foot of depth, plus $15 per foot of casing. The well driller had a package deal on 3/4 hp submersible pump, pipe, pitless adapter, pressure tank, controls, all installed for $1100. I could hardly touch all the materials for that retail, say nothing of my time to install. This was 50 or so feet from well to building.

So in your case that would be:
80 feet $1200
20 feet of casing likely. $600
Pump and in well plumbing $1000
Making the new well integrated with your current system could be pricey, depending on how you want that to work.

So given a quote of $8500 I would shop around.
