I would try and make up gauge adaptors depending on your available ports to check fuel pressure and high pressure oil. I would guess fuel pressure should be around 50 psi and high pressure oil should be around 600 psi to fire injectors. If it has two tanks, make sure they are both full as on that type of truck the drivers side can get emptied but the pass side can stay full if the transfer pump is not working. Of course the gauge reading comes off the tank that the fuel is not drawn from.
