Subject: RE: Abilene machine?

NE Iowa
I bought an overhaul kit and "rebuilt" injectors from them for an older tractor. They were the cheapest, not always the right move. Engine kit was fine but injectors looked pathetic when I opened the box. I put them in my new engine, started field cultivating to break it in, after about an hour tractor started misfiring and I thought what the %&$#. Tore apart my "rebuilt" injectors and found rusty, broken springs inside them! Obviously they just pulled injectors from their junkyard and sent them out as rebuilt. I got my money back but, still got screwed out of my cores. The parts guy there was also not nice to work with.

On a side note I bought a set of injectors from BK Diesel in Dubuque, IA. Very friendly, knowledgeable people. Injectors were actually rebuilt with all new parts for a reasonable price. Still going strong 500 hrs later. I would definitely recommend them.
