northeastern Ohio | I paid $7800 for a well a couple years ago. 40' of casing, 140' deep, 1 hp pump, 1.25" pipe all the way to the bladder tank. I supplied the tank but they hooked everything up. They paid for the permit and inspection. They did it in one day.
I think it was too much money, but it seems to be the going rate.
But you need to watch them. This company tried to stick a 3/4 hp pump and 1" pipe into the well before I arrived. They had the pump wired up and the first joint of pipe on it when I got there. I took one look and called the boss. They didn't have my pump or pipe on the truck. They had to go back to the shop to get the right stuff. Buyer beware!
