Strasburg North Dakota | We havent had the best luck with them. I ordered 32 new closing disks for our IH planter this spring. They showed up in a few days but did not come with dust caps I was planning on reusing my old caps but they didnt fit the new disks. I called them up and they sent out caps then after about 300 acres we started to have bearings going out. It took 3 times calling them until they agreed to send me a new set. The new set came and there was about 3 different brands in the box that all took different kinds of dust caps and there was 32 dust caps in the box that didnt fit any of them. I called them back and he agreed to send me 32 different ones direct from the factory with dust caps. They showed up and guess what no dust caps. Called them back and they said the company that makes them is no longer is including caps but they would make an exception this time. We also had gotten some opener disks for the planter from them a few years back and after a few rounds the bearings wiggled in the hub we called them up and they sent out another set. The replacement set wiggled right away so we got our money back that time and bought them from IH that time.
I have bought a few things from them that we have had good luck with. I put a step kit on my 1466 from them that is not a K&M brand and its good quality. We also Have bought several unloading auger extensions for IH combines from them and have had very good luck with them but we are done buying planter parts from them. | |
