Wake of a heavy, fast spray plane can be quite significant. Way more downdraft from an 802 than most any helicopter in forward travel. Either rig will spray and do great. If the rotor wash of a helicopter was really blowing the spray down it would be blowing it in circles all over the place. That doesn't happen. In forward motion there is very little downdraft from the rotor wash.
