NW Washington | I got news, things have not changed. The tenant usually ends up with the short end of the stick, just like he always has. The landlord is probably too chicken to come right out and tell the tenant face to face that some other a--hole has come along and sold him a bill of goods, or maybe he has some real issues with the way the tenant is doing things. Lots of folks dread face to face confrontation.
That said, a nice written, signed, legal rental agreement would solve a lot of these problems. | |
