NW Iowa | We have a 1200 planter ourseleves. It's been a pretty good planter for us. The touch screen is great once you get use to it. Only problem we've had with the screen is it cracked, but CIH replaced that. The spacing is great. We have a pto hydro drive though. May I ask what your purpose of going without one would be? The dealers around here won't sell one without it. With the 16/31 planter, I've heard that it's alot of weight on four wheels when the units are raised out of the ground and the bulk fill is full. Might be something to think about. All in all you would probably be happy with the planter after the first couple of hours trying to figure out how the screen operates. It's a very usefull tool when you get the hang of it. | |
