| on a powershift the brake is applied instantly when you disengage the power.this brake is a narrow --about 5/8 inch wide on a cone shaped unit that is applied by a small piston and pushes the brake against one of the gears in the pto drive train.implements should be returned to idle before disengageing power.repairing this brake is work intensive as it involves a double split to repair. as one responder said make sure debris is cleaned away from the linkage as crap can hinder linkage travel. good luck | |
