I have most always used Headline. AMP plus bifenthrin. Last year visual difference and significant yield difference....probably returned 2-2.5x the cost even though the corn was "clean" when I decided to treat "some" acres. Aphids came in on untreated. Not sure disease was a big factor but the cocktail paid.
I use the helicopter. 2 GPA. I prescribe what hybrids to treat to try and improve odds of a positive return. However, due to crappy planting season, variability and replant zones will make that prescription approach less easy.
