I used to get leg cramps a lot specially in the middle of the night in the calf muscle. I would also get cramps in my arms and forearms when working hard as well as occasional muscle twitching. For me taking calcium and magnesium supplements completely stopped the cramps/twitches. There are other mineral deficienies that can cause problems as well not sure what they are all though.
