Your "domesticated" seed has been bred that way. All the same genes make them grow the same way. Hybrid corn genes are almost all identical to the plan next to them. An oat variety could trace it lineage to just one plant the breeder decided to use. Keeping it's genes fairly similar.
While wild seed is survival of the most adaptable. No controled breeding. The wild mixing of genes does crazy things. | |
