Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | Interesting reading. I suppose the information in the cars computer,as well as the information in the other guys could clear you as easily as hang you in a court case. Seems this is standard on several brands that have the OBD II or newer computer system,as I have seen a device advertised in car magazines for years, that allows this little widget to be plugged into the diagnostic plug under the dash and download everything junior did with the family car last night. You plug this $100 device into the diagnostic plug in the car and download all the info from the cars computer/computers. You then carry it into the house and plug it into dads PC and it will download the info and print out a report. If it shows that between 9:15 and 9:25 last night, the old Buick went to wide open throttle and remained there until it reached a speed of 118 mph, then had braking event guaranteed to turn all four brake rotors red hot, well,Junior got some explaining to do. :) |
