Yep, agronomist said 20% infestation, but said we were 10 days from black layer and hot weather in the forecast.  Told us not to worry, NCLB doesn't like hot weather, not worth spraying.  5 days later it was 80% dead leaf and the corn was totally brown before black layer.  Just hoping it didn't hurt us too bad, but the kernels sure look short.
