| I planted some this year (for the first time). We had a very cold and wet spring after planting with frost (south central MN) -- the 53-68 looked like it handled the wet spots better than 53-56 and 54-38....but we'll see the results this fall. The 53-68 is very expensive!
I've planted 53-56 for a long time. It's pretty consistent with good yield potential for my area. It's quite a bite cheaper and in larger supply than the newer numbers.
54-38 has the all-time highest yield record for my farm (2015). It comes up fast and has good early growth.
I plated some 52-84 for the first time this year -- DK said avoid cold planting, but I didn't have any problems with cold soil emergence. i have it next to P0157. The 0157 had more robust early growth, but they look about the same now.
